Nannies
Introduction
Nannies are very experienced and educated in the childcare industry.
Some of the certificates and degrees that she/he might hold are the NNEB (DCE), CACHE, GNVQ, ADCE, BTEC, NAMWC.
Other qualifications such as Pre-School Play-Group Diploma and The Montessori Childcare and Teaching Diploma can also be acceptable.
OUR Nannies that do not have child care qualifications must have at least 3 years sole care experience as a nanny.
Nannies are the only child care option available for a families whose children are under 3 years old.
Mothers help and Au Pairs can not take up sole care responsibility of young children in any circumstances.
Duties
Nanny duties involve everything regarding children.
For example, playing, child development, play dates, food preparation, laundry etc.
Nannies do not do any cleaning, except cleaning up after children.
If you require the services of a cleaner, we suggest the best option is to hire a cleaner separately.
Salary
Full time Nanny salary in West and Central London start from £400-£450 NET.
Taxes and National Insurance contributions are added to the NET salary.
Hourly rates for Nannies start at £10 NET in West and Central London.
Suitability
Nannies are the only option for parents whose children are under 4 years old and sole care is required.

Mothers help
Introduction
Mothers help have experience with children but their duties can also involve light household cleaning.
Duties
Looking after children and cleaning duties. Children are usually in school during the day, so mothers help duties involve mostly after school care.
Salary
Full time Mothers help will earn in West and Central London region £300-£350NET. Taxes and NI contributions are added on top of the NET salary.
Suitability
The best option for Parents who are looking "after school nanny".
It can be difficult to find someone for only 3 hours a day, so most likely cleaning duties are added.
Depending on the mothers helper's experiences, he/ she may be suitable for sole care with young school aged children.

Au Pair
Introduction
Au Pairs are between the ages of 17-25 year old young women who take up the Au Pair position to learn English and also want to get a better understanding of English culture and life.
Au Pairs will work 25 hours per week and an Au Pair Plus will work up to 35 hours weekly. Au Pairs have some experience with looking after children.
They might of looked after a younger sibling or cousin, been a counselor at a children's camp or babysat for their neighbour's children.
An Au Pairs main duty is to offer companionship to the children and family, help the family with babysitting and doing light household chores. Au Pairs cannot offer sole care as they do not have child care qualifications to take on that responsibility.
Suitability
Au Pairs are a wonderful option to families whose Children are a bit older.
Au Pairs will be treated as part of the family not as an employee.
